Re: Race ModeHey all Vercantos here. I gotta admit race mode does sound different to me and it is still a gun game. The idea to shoot them will still involve the primary part of the game also let there be 2 different parts of it:
FP+AP race= harder track for FP users and AP users PEN+Fumbi race= a track for all PEN and Fumbi users |

To me it seemed like a weapons filled Triathlon somehow. The point of the game could be to get your team's Fumbi to the Goal before someone else's team makes it to the same goal. If you get killed perhaps your team's fumbi drops while the other team can continue on with their Fumbi. Naturally there'd be no SP drain in this like in TD. Miss the lobby? Re: Race ModeThere must be places where you must jump in order to move forward and there must be hard ones like places where you need to do triple jumps and so and the path should be a breakeable object which you can breake to slow the others.

Re: Race ModeThere should be multiple paths that interlock at certain points allowing for clashes and preventing one team to be up at the front while half give cover fire, also you could have rotating pathways that are always randomized so that no one can figure out the quickest path. Kind of like a revolving door but with pathways.
There should be checkpoints for respawning or respawning in the same, or closest to the same spot the person died. Players must pass through these checkpoints before heading to the finish, which for added fun I think should be going back the way they came preventing people with daggers to just bolt in front of the rest. |
