The 1 hour is not cumulative once you disconnect. You will need to complete an entire hour on a character in one online time to be counted.

It is both since when you are in the login or character selection screen, you technically aren't online on any character. The rewards are based on character and not account which is why you need to be online at least for an entire hour.

First set of daily rewards for the past days will be sent out today, after that the daily rewards should be in your ingame mail box on a daily basis. The maximum waiting time will be 48h~ depending on the que size.
