server lag caused by other people

What ever happened to the IP banning of countries anyway? The reason they allow these non-EU/NA players is for money. Simple as that. S4 is a milk fest of cash for these people.

If this game was handled by a North American company, it'd be NA only. And then eventually possibly there would be an EU server. A REAL EU server for EU. Unlike alaplaya giving NA a fake server. And NA is good bout IP banning outside of country region. There would be none of this egyptian, middle eastern and asian infestation bullshit going on.

At this point in time, guarantee if NAS4 was picked up and licensed by an NA company and alaplaya lost the rights to host NA, all the NA players would flock to NAS4 AND some EU players would too. Just to get away from this pathetic milkfest version.


And@People who think EG doesn't lag that bad.. there's a diff between high pings and how S4 works. The quicker you can get your data to/from places, even if it's just a little piece of the data the better for you. Egyptian's have such horrible network infrastructure and set up.. they run on SMALL as hell packets which cause their pings to be high and spike a lot and cause them to skip badly all over the place. But these same small packets are all S4 needs to register every single little thing they do. But news flash, majority of other countries and regions like EU and NA do not use such out-dated packet sending. They group up larger packets of data to be sent to cause less packet loss and lower pings. But S4 is all about getting them packets as soon as possible even if its just a couple pieces. And that's why EG has an advantage with their lag. It causes them to ass rape effortlessly while others get fked over by it.

This game should be strictly EU/NA. And there should only be two server selections. Europe.. North America.

Yes, I'm Malaysian. And I speak English that is acceptable in England (damn those NA people to hell for cursing me as a native monkey and can't even spell get out correctly).

Anyways, back to the topic, I'm pretty sure the rest of the Malaysian players want a server for ourselves because we lag to you = you lag to us.

Look don't count me as a racist i don't want you away from the game i just want them to make a server for egypt so they won't cause any more problems in the uropean server. Also 90% of those people don't even understand english and keep yelling 'kosomak'. The people there are fine it's jsut the fact you can't connect properly to the game due to the distance, then get a server closer by you should accept with it and con't react like i flame at you.

And one more thing.. you claim you go to the EU server for the more skilled while being NA. Do you know why most of us go to EU when we are from NA? Because the lag is still noticeable in our fake server that doesn't REALLY exist. Since the net-code ties us back to alaplaya HQ regardless. Making our server more of a traffic designation than a latency reduction. If we all truly found minimal lag in NA we would be there with no hesitation. NA players give a hell of a lot more heightened skill level than the rest of the world. The only reason other countries tend to look like they are skilled is because the majority of NA runs on old ass D2 modems that are literally 10-50 times slower than the rest of the world's internet modems. EuroD2 modems run 10 times faster than american D2 modems. And in a game based on getting those tiny packets around quickly, EuroD2 > AmericanD2 modems. Not to mention more of Europe is on D3 modems which are next generation and can carry 300-900 theoretical Mbps. And any D3 modem > D2. We have D3 in our country but it's only in certain places and certain ISPs. Still the majority of US is on D2.
US is the place where the world brings their game conventions and professional world tourneys. There's a reason for that.

Not to mention, this game seems to ironically work best with the poorest connections and the best connections. While the majority of the whole world is inbetween all of that. This net-code was stupid as hell to be put in place. As the ones who pay for decent internet should be the ones who experience minimal lag. Not the other way around.

What the heck am I reading. People from all around the world meeting in the same place doesn't make such "place" better.
Last time I checked, the dominating players of a certain games were all Japanese and Korean gamers respectively.
Last time I checked in S4 the Reload Cancel and WallBoost were both found by Italian players. And like half of the top 10 clans are also Italian which is potentially the smallest server, /swag.

But this is so randomness. I'm just saying that country doesn't matter.
