I bring you FORTRESS MODE!
Set in the Gear Factory, trouble is brewing in the world of S4 League. Here in this weapons production facility, people would desire to use the munitions crafted for selfish and evil deeds. Others would seek to destroy the factory forever.
It is up to YOU to decide the fate of the Gear Factory.
Mode Summary.
There are two sides, the attacking side and the defending side.
ATTACKERS - You spawn outside of the factory and you will have to destroy certain objectives to achieve victory, detailed in my map below.
Firstly, they must destroy the gate to the factory whilst fighting players on the defending side. Once the gate is destroyed, the attackers must move on to two seperate objectives that must be destroyed; these are The Production Line and The Furnace. Once these are destroyed, the attackers move on to a second gate which then leads to the Factory Core. Once this is destroyed, the attackers are victorious.
DEFENDERS - You spawn in the Core Room, and have the benefits of slightly shorter respawn timers BUT have shorter respawn invulnerability as well. Also you have the protective lazers to provide easy movement throughout the factory. Your goal is to defend the factory at all costs.
If the timer ticks down to 0 and the factory still stands, you win.
The Mode is set in two halves so that both Alpha and Beta have a shot at playing both sides. The health of the Objectives is decided by the length of the halves, shorter matches have weaker objectives whilst full length matches have tougher Objectives.
The winning sides get bonus EXP/PEN, so if you carry your team to victory in both halves, expect large rewards for your efforts.
Gear Factory
Gear Factory is styled like the current Iron Eyes maps with a very industrial feel. The map will need to be BIG and there will be plenty of obstacles etc. to provide a fast paced and action-packed experience. There will be high and low ground to benefit snipers and rushers alike.

Interactive Scenery
To make the mode even more epic, I'm expanding on Shiki's installed weapons idea. Across the map there are interactive objects that can benefit a player's team or damage the enemy.
1. Earth Bomb Trap - On the map you may find a pile of discarded Earth Bombers. You can interact with these bombs to set a timer on them, ranging from 5 to 30 seconds depending on how long you hold down the 'Interact' button. Once the timer has ticked down, the bombs explode in a large blast radius dealing heavy damage to allies and foes alike nearby.
2. Gear Armour - A suit of armour made in the Gear Factory, when picked up will offer you a slight defense buff and reflect a percentage of damage dealt to you for a few seconds.
3. Armour Piercing Rounds - Bullets made in the Gear Factory, when picked up will make your attacks ignore defenses, whether they be +8 all weapons defense or +3 snipe defense.
4. eSper Charge - When interacted with, a large pulse of blue energy will be emitted, restoring full SP to nearby allies and draining nearby opponents SP by 50% of their max SP.
