im new to the game but im a huge gamer ive done a few matches and went 30 kills no deaths and have played similar games so i know what im doing. wondering what long distance magic user with the highest damage character is and also the strongest meele class as well difficulty shouldint be 2 much of a problem .. thanks for the help

Well, as far as I have heard, "Lien" is the strongest magic user. But you have to buy her with AP. Lacrimosa is sorta good, however, can be annoying due to her forced warp portal skill. I'm not sure on melee since I've only used Kilmor and Gengou. Hate to say it but Gengou is somewhat easier to use than Kilmor because of his drag+stun combo.

I agree, Lien is probably the strongest magic user.
I played Irene for a while, and if you buy the right items, she is impossible to kill. Trough her damage sucks normally, unless you buy som attack speed and power.
But if you buy tank items, and keep healing yourself, she can solo 2 Kilmors etc.

beat magic user: lien (although a nab hero)
best melee: well if technical, Stella, but if geared and want sure kill, ellan. (opinions)

Magic: Lien - (OP - not that I can use her at all)/Lacrimosa - (Once again no idea how to use her)
Melee: Stella - (OP when she's geared)/Atin - (Pretty solid with or without gear)
