STR OR INT

Postby orhkueh » Wed Aug 13, 2008 7:59 am

Str OR Int path is better for merc? I read the description Str only add physical damage, so it does not add skills damage like INT?

Str adds Skill DMG aswell but less then Int.
It depends on how u want to play the Merc, in the end Mostlikely a Str Build will deal more DMG over time while Int could be called burst dmg.

I'd have to disagree that INT adds more skill damage than STR, I personally tested by making a pure STR merc and a pure INT merc, got them leveled up to the same level and STR came out on top giving more skill damage than INT. Perhaps it changes as you get even higher leveled, but at the level I got them to STR was the best option.

Probably i allready guessed that they did change it but i may have tho that Int still has a higher effect on Skilsl then Str so it wouldn't be a complete waste of Stats?

int gives definately more skill damage than str ... BUT !!!!!!!
If u max aggression .... u get +15 % on your damage .... so str can outdamage int .
BUT if it does the same on skill damage what i don't think ...
i'll go just cry lol.

Go STR all the way i already wasted one skill reset for int !

If int definitely gives more skill damage than str then it must be at really high levels. As I said in a post earlier, I personally tested pure str and pure int and str came out on top. I did this before I got my stat reset. I was a 2str 1int build before I reset and after I reset I had no int and put the points that were in int elsewhere, the funny thing is that my skill damage dropped by maybe 10-20 depending on skill, not very much IMO. Str IMO is better.
