huh? a shield? so shooting behind a shield when suddenly you get shot at from front and back and have nowhere to go...ah! good plan right? maybe you're just casually shooting behind your shield and no bullets getting to you lol good choice! when suddenly a melee ninja appears and lands on you with a cs + cs heavy right into a wall for an almost instant death...yup! just a shield is all we need! lol...and you could at least read the whole guide...the guide is for helping make a good build. There's a weakness to everything so saying "All you need is Shield." doesn't help at all...

hahaha that was sure an amusing read. Let's put it this way, so that even a 9 years old can understand it:
In S4, for the most part, you shoot bullets to kill players.
Shield blocks bullets. The end.
Why is it banned from DM ESL tournaments? Why in the recent DM Burning Aim Tournament *EVERY SINGLE PLAYER* was using Shield in the finals?
Shield has no real downsides. Its only downside is that the potential lack of SP makes you more vulnerable to stun based attacks (and makes it useless if you take the ball in TD), but this is a weakness shared with every active skill.

With the new GUI, Block has been horribly nerfed and it can be destroyed super easily by anything. That skill is dead.

I didn't include all skills obviously. Metallic, HP+30 , block, shield and detect work good with anything don't really add anything extra in order to make up for possible loses in your build. Maybe i could say that ofc shield helps if you have a reload intensive build, but not really, it doesn't. Or i could suggest ppl that have the need to read this guide, to never use block, cause its a horrible horrible skill when you don't know what you're doing, cause guess what it blocks both ways...
Maybe i should include the purpose of the guide to avoid idiotic replies...

Never noticed something like that, when did that happen? Anyway, block is an awesome and universal tool. It can act like a substitute for shield, it can be used to stop those pesky td'ers on ST-2 (or wherever), can act like a bait/distraction, wallshoot, sentry tactics.

I like your guide. Lateley I've been seeing a few players play full on regular(as in no restriction) TD matches with only melee weps and really winning. I used to try that a few months ago when I was training with my bat. How would you approach making a swords only set and applying it to TD.

if it helps I normally play when I don't use guns with: Storm Bat, dagger and PS and HP + 15. For some reason I can't use the CS properly.

Im not sword expert. But if i had to make one i think i would use CS as the core, if i can't or dont want to use cs revenge for w/e the reason i would go for a mobile set, that should include swords with slow afterhit delay, hammer being one of them sd for obvious reasons and the 3rd weapon is up 2 you. Now if you play with cs revenge that is going to be 1 of your weapons, after that you need something that deals a lot of dmg, so cs bat and ps is a pretty balanced set but it doesnt have that sd movement speed. But either way you cant make a balanced SO set just because the weapons are supposed to work in unlimited mode so SO is bound to have even more broke weapon balance than unlimited mode.
