S4 + Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit = Fail (IE: Not working)

So....ummmm....yeah, I'll try to make this quick and simple:

1. Using WIndows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit

2. Run S4 League......updates......xtrap updates......xtrap initializes.......NOTHING HAPPENS.

3. Restart S4 League

4. Xtrap does it checks.........NOTHING HAPPENS.

In short, my S4 League client goes through all the updates and checks only to shut itself off without even loading the game. This has been going for the past 3 - 4 updates now and it's really pissing me off.....I mean, I can't check to see how much fail as been added to this game since my last login.

Anyway, even though this sounds trollish, it's a legitimate support question because this is really happening and I need help.

So you dont see the news feed in the patcher; for which you need Internet Explorer?

Well if thats the case, then your wrong here. The problem is your IE then, and not S4 League..

Yes, I get past the launcher and all. Yes, I see the little tidbits of unimportant news in the launcher. It has nothing to do with S4 not working after Xtrap initializes and finishes its checks.

Be sure to give to s4client.exe administrative rights.
Also if you are using TS that might be the problem.

and/or have you tried re-installing with Hella's client

I always solved that with changing compability to vista or winxp
